Norway's first independent measurement of how verifiable corporate sustainability claims really are.

The question we set out to answer:

If a company claims to have reduced emissions or improved supply chain practices - can anyone verify that using public data?

We analyzed five major Norwegian companies:

Veidekke ASA | Wilhelmsen | Norsk Hydro | Bane NOR | Coop Norge SA

Key findings:

-> Average transparency score: 28.8%

-> Top performer: Veidekke at 35%

-> Most claims can only be verified internally

Why this matters now:

CSRD is now in force in Norway. The EU Greenwashing Directive applies from September 2026. Regulators, investors, and the public will increasingly ask: Can you prove your claims?

Our methodology:

-> Based entirely on public data

-> Every company notified before publication

-> Measures transparency, not sustainability performance

This is the first edition. More companies and sectors coming quarterly.
